Box of Chocolates!
These definitions we form, of the numerous emotions we feel, love, anger, hatred, happiness, confusion, depression, aggression, ecstacy.. depend on individual experiences. It isn't necessary that two people should share the same meaning of a specific emotion. This is what creates conflict. These definitions are not formed in an instant. It takes multiple experiences to form an idea of what we believe. Those with opposing views only think differently because of their personal encounters.
When you start to understand why you think/feel/believe all that you do, it becomes easier to respect other people and their ideas of life. Isn't it better if everyone takes the opportunity to think differently? Sharing these ideas will only broaden your views. There's no harm in trying a new way to think, is there? We are born with the right to form our own views of the world, in whichever manner we want. The world never has been, is not, and never will be just black and white. Multiple shades of innumerable colors make diversity so beautiful.
Thoughts fuel actions, and imagine if we could achieve peace and harmony by just allowing ourselves to think a little more.. think a litte less even. Although, there is no denying that there's a different sort of beauty altogether when extreme emotions take form. In no sense do I respect or support actions of crime/terrorism, but when I see the passion with which these acts are carried on, I can't help but admire the intensity.
As complexly as our mind functions, the moment you figure out that you can control each thought is when you learn to understand the bigger picture in relation to the smaller bits.
"The closer you are, the lesser you see.."

Can't find the words to describe us
I think of our good times and I have a whole lot memories of us. Even though I feel I own them, the grains of those moments are slowly slipping out of my fingers.. I have loved you beyond measure with every stab in my back you've placed.
Love is the only reply that will ever make sense. Reply to love with love. Reply to hurt with even more love. But maybe I've tried too hard for too long. Its beginning to get dark and cold, and I don't think I ever want to go back. I'm waiting for the inevitable change that life's promised me.. where is it?
I'm reaching out to you.. take me far away from this blizzard. I don't like it anymore. I want to feel the high I can only find in the depths of your embrace.. I want moments I can call mine again. Take me back to the place we called home ..at least before I numb out from these lashes.

Finding myself as I lose myself
Over the past few months, I've come to realize how many
changes have taken place in my life, and not necessarily overnight. Little
choices result in big changes, whether I noticed or not!
Life sometimes seems like such a big complicated occasion,
that I often feel overwhelmed. At times, I feel so excited about the events
going on in my life and then there are times when I just do not understand the
point of anything. From food, emotions, to relationships, nothing
makes sense. I space out from everything and everyone. I feel like my sense of
"self" is unnecessary.
Just vague ideas floating in and out of my head, while I
feel like an entity that is everything and nothing, both at once. Whether I
understand these concepts of human existence or not, time will pass. There are
times where I feel I've wasted so much time over confusion. I tend to dissect
all the elements that form an emotion to the point where I can conveniently
make my negative emotions vanish. And sometimes, I enjoy not feeling anything. Numbness
that spreads slowly, taking power away from anything I can't see.
Then I realize there's nothing more to life than a series of
small, simple moments. Most part of our 'destiny' revolves around
the little choices we make.. and there's no real need to get frightened by life's drama. As long as you listen to your heart and do what you feel is
right, every moment is a perfect moment. Taking time to understand yourself,
love yourself, and being content with yourself is so important. It gives you strength to cope with these changes.
Things to do more often:
1. Identify & solve problems. Put a finger on what it is
that's worrying you and determine steps to get rid of it.
2. Simplify your life. Take a break from technology. Read a
book. Go for a walk. Play the piano!
3. Exercise.
4. Accept all emotions, both positive and negative.
5. Spend time in nature. The kind of calmness it brings!
7. Exercise happiness. Practice being grateful. Appreciate
more often.
